Stills of a deleted scene from Dr. Strangelove (1964, dir. Stanley Kubrick).

It was originally planned for the film to end with a scene in which everyone in the war room was involved in a cream pie fight, but Kubrick decided to not include it. In a 1969 interview, he stated: “I decided it was farce and not consistent with the satiric tone of the rest of the film”.
